Midsummer in Jämland 2008

Last Thursday I took the night train to Jämtland to celebrate Midsummer with my family. I arrived at Östersund Central Station at 7am. Mum and dad picked me up and we went up to Martinas' cottage in Åkersjön.

Sweden vs Spain (game 2)

Yesterday the boys organized a Sweden-Spain game. Unfortunately none of the Swedish (girls) could play. Next time we'll play.

My first sewing machine

Husqvarna 2000 from 1968 (I think). My mom has one too, since she is very pleased with it I figured it was a good idea to buy the same model. If I have any problems I just call my mom. She uses me as a call center for computer support and I will use her for sewing machine support ;-)

I don't know what the first sewing project will be. Maybe some cushions for the sofa?

It came with all the details including the original manual.

I bought the sewing machine at "Lasses symaskiner" at Brämaregatan, Hisingen.

Sweden vs Spain (game 1)

Last Saturday was a big day for our Spanish-Swedish group. Sweden played against Spain.

We were supposed to watch the game at Emilios' and Danis' office but the technology failed...

...so we went to Kajsa and Alonsos' place.

Spain vs Russia and Sweden vs Greece

Soccer night with the Spanish-Swedish group. First dinner and Spain- Russia at O'Learys, later Sweden-Greece at the Avenyn and then back to O'Learys because it was too cold (where did the summer go???)

Åsa, don't you like soccer?

National day of Sweden June 6th

Last Friday we celebrated the Swedish national day. I went to a concert by Göteborgs Symfoniker in Slottskogen. Lotssssss of people... Isn't this couple just too cute???

Lisa 30 years

Last Thursday we celebrated Lisa and her 30 years on this planet. She had prepared a lovely picnic near Delsjön. When the mosquitos went mad we moved on to Rumpan bar in Linnéstan and finally we had crepes at the Creperie. Delicious!!!
