Breakfast at Tiffany's in Swedish

I just finished "Frukost på Tiffany's" by Truman Capote. I bought this book last Summer (with a gift certificate that a friend gave me) as a part of the proyect of reading Classics. I have a list of Classic books that I'm going to read during my life. Right now I don't know where I have put the list but when I see a book in the book store I know if it's a "must read" or not. This was one of them. I rate it 5/10. It wasn't bad but not very good either.
Plot:
"Fred", the narrator, is introduced to Holly Golightly, a 19 year old former Hollywood starlet, one night when she crawls through his window from the fire escape. Her boyfriend for the evening bites her on the shoulder, and she needs to get away from him. Fred and Holly become fast friends, especially when he reminds her it's Thursday, the day she must meet Sally Tomato in jail for a $100 a visit, to get the weather report from him. Holly believes her life is about moving anywhere, and everywhere, and she must try all these places before she can have breakfast at Tiffany's. Tiffany's is the ultimate step that her glamorous life will lead her to - because you can't wear diamonds before you're 40.

La Sombra del Viento in Swedish

In December I read "Vindens Skugga" by Carlos Ruiz Zafón. This was a birthday present from Pepe and Vicen. 512 really good pages. I rate it 8/10. Thank you Pepe and Vicen!!!!

The novel, set in post- Spanish Civil War Barcelona, concerns a young boy, Daniel. Just after the war, Daniel's father takes him to the secret Cemetery of Forgotten Books, a huge library of old, forgotten titles lovingly preserved by a select few initiates. According to tradition, everyone initiated to this secret place is allowed to take one book from it, and must protect it for life. Daniel selects a book called The Shadow of the Wind by Julian Carax. That night he takes the book home and reads it, completely engrossed. Daniel then attempts to look for other books by this unknown author, but can find none. All he comes across are stories of a strange man - calling himself Lain Coubert, after a character in the book who happens to be the Devil - who has been seeking out Carax' books for decades, buying them all and burning them. In time this mysterious figure seeks out Daniel and attempts to make him part with the book. Terrified, Daniel returns the book to the Cemetery of Forgotten Books. But by now Daniel is already in the middle of a story that began many years ago, and will come to threaten his own life.

Christmas Dinner in Älmhult

On Dec. the 8th we rented a car and went off to Ekudden, Älmhult for Christmas dinner. It was as nice as always. All the boys had invited their families and I think we were about 20 around the table. Everybody had brought a dish and we had so much to eat. The weather was not very Christmasy, it rained and it was foggy all weekend. On Sunday we went for a lovely walk before we went home. The ride home took about 3 hours.
