Domkyrkan and Fyrisån
05.00 Tuesday morning rise and shine. We took a flight to Stockholm at 7.00 am. From Arlanda airport to Uppsala by train. Maria and Johannes picked us up at the station since we didn't know where the Guide Redina office was. Redina is a part of the Guide Group and its specialty is Usability.
9.30-16.00 Usability by Inger and Torsten.
The session was very interesting by too short. I will definitely sign up for a two day session of User Centered System Design (Användarcentrerad Systemdesign ACSD) at Astrakan (www.astrakan.se, Guide's partner of competence training).
After the course Martin Nordkvist and Johannes Bäckström took us on a sightseeing tour around Uppsala. Very beautiful and cosy.
The Castle and Fyrisån seen from the restaurant "Tsatsiki" where we had dinner
Pros for Uppsala
- Beautiful
- A lot of history
- Small but not too small
- Close to Stockholm
- Close to Arlanda (and therefore close to the rest of the world)
- Closer to Jämtland
- Guide Redina
- Too jaunty (studentikost)
- I only know too people in Uppsala
