The Exile Family Movie

The best documentary I've ever seen. Widh and I went to the opening of the Exile Film Festival and it was absolutely the best three hours of this week. This festival is arranged every other two years and this is the 8th time. The documentary was outstanding. If you have a chance to see it you should. They screen it one more time during the festival. On Wednesday at 14.00 I believe.

"An Iranian family living in political exile in Europe and America decides to organize a secret meeting with the rest of the family still living in Iran whom they haven't seen for nearly two decades. Despite all the dangers, the long awaited, tearful reunion takes place after 20 years of separation in Saudi Arabia and proves to be a huge culture clash"

The director of the movie, Arash T. Riahi, was there to comment the movie afterwards and we got very surprised when we realized that even his father and aunt was there. We were deeply moved.
